GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATIONThe Bible says we have all sinned. Do you believe you are a sinner in the sight of God?
As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one. - Romans 3:10 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. - Romans 3:23 The Bible says that the penalty of our sin is death, and that because we have sinned, we deserve the lake of fire (hell.) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. - Romans 6:23 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. - Revelation 20:14-15 The Bible says that Jesus paid the penalty for our sins by dying on the cross of Calvary for us, then being raised from the dead the third day. Do you believe He paid the full debt for your sin? Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. - 1 Peter 2:2 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: - 1 Peter 3:18 The Bible says that we can have eternal life, by simply receiving the free gift God offers through his son. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. - John 1:12 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Romans 10:9-10 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. - Romans 10:13 |

The gospel message of "Christ crucified" has been offensive to many. In our culture it is common for some preachers to soften the offensiveness of the cross, and the attributes of God that are displayed in the person of work of Jesus Christ. "American Gospel: Christ Crucified" explores how the paths of post-modernism and progressive Christianity lead to a different gospel, and a god created in our own image.
- We often hear the phrase, “Jesus died for our sins.” What does that mean?
- Is the God of the Old Testament the same as the God in the New Testament? - Did God the Father kill Jesus? - Can a loving God also express wrath? - Why is hell necessary? Click the Video Below for the trailer of American Gospel - Christ Crucified |
