About Pastor Charlie RousePastor Charles A. Rouse, Jr., (Charlie) has been the senior pastor of Liberty Baptist Church of Albany, Georgia, since June 11, 1989. Charlie accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior on a Friday night in revival, September 1977 at the age of 29. Pastor Charlie was ordained by Sherwood Baptist in Albany, Georgia on July 15, 1987. Charlie preaches an average of 4 sermons a week as he supplies the pulpit at Liberty Baptist on Sunday morning and evening, Wednesday evening, and the alcohol-rehabilitation camp called the Anchorage in Albany, Georgia. Charlie’s lifetime Scripture verse is Jeremiah 33:3 “Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knoweth not.”
Liberty Baptist Church was originally formed on July 2, 1986. Pastor Charlie is an expository preacher who delights in preaching the whole council of God. Liberty Baptist is on the local radio station at 90.7 The Life FM each Sunday morning at 9am. Liberty’s associate pastor is Richard Parker. The music leader is Terry Oliver. Sunday School begins at 9:45am and the Sunday church worship service is at 11am. Sunday evening begins at 6pm. The Wednesday night service is at 7pm. Charlie preaches at the Anchorage of Albany every Thursday night at 7pm. The Sunday School literature follows the Southern Baptist protocol. Liberty is a member of the Mallary Association of Albany, Georgia. Charlie Rouse is a bi-vocational pastor. Besides being an ordained Southern Baptist minister, he is a licensed pharmacist, the founder of The Medicine Vitamins of Albany, and the founding member of Modexus, LLC, product research council. |
